A constellation of villages and townships, each sporting their individual flare and personality, offer families unique

tastes of our Burnett County culture.

As you cross over the flowing waters of the beautiful St. Croix River and into Wisconsin you’ll be greeted by the

warm and welcoming Village of Grantsburg. Home to one of the largest state owned wildlife areas, Crex Meadows,

as well as miles of trails and riverway, Grantsburg is the perfect destination to unwind with friends and family while

immersed in the beauty of nature.

A bit farther into the county lies Siren – but on your way to this amenity-packed village, be sure to stop at the Bur-

nett Dairy Cheese Store for a bite to eat at the bistro and an ice cream cone to go. Teaming with activity, you’ll find

fine dining, a variety of shopping experiences and plenty of accommodations in Siren. Known throughout the county

for its great family-friendly events organized by Chamber of Commerce businesses, be sure to bring enjoy making

memories at the 4th of July events.

To the north discover the Village of Webster. Featuring quaint main street shops, Webster offers more unique

shopping experiences. During the summer months be sure to take the family to an old-fashioned car hop drive-in

and stop by one of the area’s largest craft fairs. The second weekend in August marks Gandy Dancer Days and the

Village will celebrate its 100th Anniversary all weekend long!

In the northernmost reaches of Burnett County lies Danbury, full of diverse shopping opportunities, an art gallery

and several restaurants. Home to Forts Folle Avoine Historical Park and a state-of-the-art Tribal casino and hotel,

Danbury is a juxtaposition of past and present. The St. Croix Chippewa Indians of Wisconsin have a strong influ-

ence in Burnett County and you’ll find Tribal hosted events across the county such as the St. Croix Traditional Wild

Rice Pow-Wow in August. Proprietors of the county’s two casinos, they also own and operate SCT Travel, Fourwinds

Market, St. Croix Chippewa Construction, St. Croix Chippewa Embroidery and Emerald Systems Technology Firm.

Down winding county roads, you’ll also come upon a handful of smaller communities with much to offer. Webb

Lake attracts motorsports enthusiasts to a busy sports shop offering everything needed for a fun Northwoods

getaway. With a St. Patrick’s celebration that swells a small community to almost 20 times its size, Webb Lake is a

fun stop on your Burnett County tour. Just down the road from Webb Lake, you’ll find the corner of A&H, featuring

everything you’d need for a weekend getaway and more. To the south, the Trade Lake region is home to the Fish

Lake Wildlife Area and many opportunities for loved ones and friends..
